This is a wonderful place to hold weddings and Celebrations of Life. We have used Stanbrook Abbey Hotel for two celebrations and I cannot fault the staff, they are all excellent. The facilities are magnificent. I recall visiting the Abbey when I was attending secondary school to visit the Nuns who loved there. Very humble and lovely ladies and I always think of them when I visit. George's Bar is good for cocktails too. Visit if you can, it's set in lovely countryside near Worcester and Malvern. I can highly recommend

We had our wedding at Stanbrook in October 2019. The whole experience was excellent. The wedding planning from Liza was detailed and thorough, nothing was too much trouble and she showed flexibility and pragmatism when things went to plan. We found lots of our suppliers through the wedding fairs and the recommended supplier list that Stanbrook provided. The food was excellent, we loved the menu tasting day and were treated like royalty. On the day the whole thing ran like clockwork, with toastmaster Roger, wedding coordinator Milan and the whole team looking after us incredibly well. The suite we stayed in was massive and the hotel put on breakfast in the garden pavilion for our guests the day after so that we could have a debrief. The venue is beautiful and is perfectly tailored for large weddings (we had 180+ guests) in a unique setting. If you're planning a wedding in Worcestershire definitely have a look at Stanbrook - we can't recommend it highly enough.

Visited to see if this venue would be suitable for a wedding. The Abbey is awesome but long and narrow and typically quite dark ad you would expect. There are many little rooms off the main long corridor which would be useful for a number of purposes. The nuns powder room was fabulous. The dining room didn't have any natural light but was a good size room and the marquee which was attached was enormous. We didn't have anyone show us around the main sections as they ready had other couples booked in for viewings but they were happy for us to browse on our own. Very helpfully they found a maintenance man to show us the bedroom accommodation and their top suite was fabulous with a big balcony overlooking the countryside. The bar area is very contemporary which isn't really in keeping with the rest of the building but a lovely area to be in.

Have a coffee or tea for two and rapid charge your batteries or your cars in this lovely place. Great to find a standard debit card tap-n-go ChaDeMo charger (Polar) on site. Love that I can drive there and back, fill up from empty AND have afternoon tea for far less than a tank of fossil fuel.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Refurbished restaurant works well for breakfast but doesn't feel right for the type of evening meals served, more of a chain restaurant setting. Disappointing. The quality of the meals was good. All the staff are helpful and friendly.
