This place is a hidden gem! We were sat down to plenty of bread and delicious garlic butter, and ordered the steak frites between two (the portions here are huge!) it was cooked well (medium) and the service is super friendly. We came back on our last night because we loved it so much. Looks like lots of local families eat here too so you know it's good! Potato salad is ok.. get the steak, chips and rice!

Walking distance from manuva suite resort. Delicious bbq (chicken, steak or local fish) and also raw fish. Sides include potato salad, rice or fries (skinny like mcds type of fries!) The coconut raw tuna wasnt my thing but the bbq chicken was amazing. Its in a parking lot with 2 other food trucks and very very busy with people (on a tuesday!) having to take away the food because of lack of seating. Portions are very generous and good for 2 female eaters which makes it cheap. I would recommend eating here!

The steak frites was delicious & the poisson cru is splendid, however the lemon chicken was too batter-y and the rice dry.

This food truck park is somewhat of a hidden gem. It was very close to our resort, Manava Suite Resort Tahiti. While the resort had some solid food options and there were other dining options nearby, the food trucks at this park were both convenient and relatively very affordable. Other nearby dining options, while maybe having more refined ambience, were considerably more expensive than the few food trucks found at this park.
While we did not go to the food trucks for breakfast or lunch (not sure if they are even open at these times), we went three times for dinner during out stay in Papeete. I think the locals call these food truck parks “roulettes”, so if asking for directions, it may help to ask for them by that name. This particular roulette was easily walkable from the Manava. While the walk to and from there was short, the path is almost pitch black. We did not feel unsafe, but we sometimes wondered if traffic would see us walking along the side of the road. Walk at your own risk.
The food options are great. We went to the same truck two of the three times we visited. I had the steak frites both times, and I think it was about $7 with a drink. Portions were pretty good. I would recommend this and will definitely go back next time I am in Tahiti.
